The KöD adventure began in early summer 2014 with the opening of the first restaurant in Aarhus. Since then, KöD has been a favorite destination for meat-hungry Aarhusians as well as tourists. The great demand meant that the little pearl moved into larger premises by the river in Aarhus in 2017. Both the delicious steaks, exquisite wines and the relaxed and cozy atmosphere followed down to the water's edge.

In collaboration, we will tailor the perfect evening, whether you are a couple, a family or a larger company.

Definitely the best meat in Aarhus. If you want a good steak and delicious side dishes, this is the place to go. The staff is always smiling and helpful. Don't forget to try their lemonade too, it's really in a class of its own.

Really good service with service minded staff. We arrived early, with two children and were allowed to sit at the bar. Here the children got mocktails which were really good. The bartender was attentive and skilled. The food was really good, with many options and side orders. We were more than full. The waitresses were skilled and very attentive. Can definitely be recommended.

We had steaks and they were cooked perfectly with nice grill steak and really delicious tender and flavorful meat. Cocktail the same. Really good quality, together with friendly and attentive service, it was a very good experience. I will definitely come again.

I celebrated my birthday at KÖD with my husband and children. It was super delicious food. Good service, nice and competent waiter who made sure we had a nice evening. Good space between the borders.

I had a perfect experience. The staff had control over wines and meat. The service was quick and the meat perfectly cooked. The price is on the high end, but the place can bear it, due to the quality of the food and the service.

Atmospheric and cozy setting for dinner with friends. Cocktails, wine and food were all top notch, but what really made a difference was the absolutely fantastic service. Smiling, sweet, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable about both food and wine. Our server Josefine made a huge difference this evening for both ours and the other companies she took care of. At KöD, we naturally focus on the meat. Your steak is served by itself on the plate and you can choose just the sides you like. We serve our sides in bowls, so they are ready to share at the table.
