TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TRADE FOR MEAT DANMARK – EVENTS, DEPOSITS AND GIFT CARDS (ONLINE ORDERS)

These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of services and products related to events, deposits and gift certificates via the websites of the following restaurants in the Kød group in Denmark (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Kød”, “we”, “us”):

  • Meat Aarhus ApS (CVR 36018550), Åboulevarden 23, 8000 Aarhus C
  • Meat Copenhagen ApS (CVR 36725222), Admiralgade 25, 1066 Copenhagen K
  • Meat Vesterbro ApS (CVR 37436704), Vesterbrogade 33, 1620 Copenhagen V

These terms apply only for orders placed via the respective websites of the above-mentioned restaurants. These terms apply not for regular table reservations without prepayment.

  1. Contact information

Contact information for each restaurant can be found on their respective websites.

  1. Booking and Confirmation (Arrangements and Deposit)
  • Booking events and/or paying deposits bowl made via the relevant restaurant's website.
  • An order confirmation/agreement will be sent automatically via email after the order has been placed and payment has been registered. Please ensure that you provide a correct email address. This confirmation will contain details of the event, date, time, number of guests (if applicable), price and payment terms.

  1. Purchase and Use of Gift Cards
  • Gift cards can only purchased via the respective websites.
  • Terms and conditions for gift cards, including validity period, will always appear on the gift card.
  • Gift cards can be used as a means of payment for food, drinks and events at the relevant Kød restaurants according to the terms and conditions on the gift card.
  • Gift cards can be used as a means of payment in accordance with the terms and conditions stated on the gift card. Exchange or payment of gift cards is made in accordance with applicable legislation. Remaining amounts can be used for later purchases within the validity period.

  1. Payment (Arrangements, Deposit and Gift Certificates)
  • Payment for events, deposits and gift cards is made online via the respective websites and can be made with Dankort, Visa/Dankort, MasterCard, or other relevant payment solutions that are accepted.
  • Payment deadlines and terms for arrangements and deposits will be stated in the order confirmation/agreement.
  • When purchasing a gift card, the full amount is paid upon ordering.
  • All prices are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include VAT.

  1. Right of withdrawal/Cancellation (Arrangements)
  • There is basically NO right of withdrawal on agreements for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities, including restaurant visits and events, when it follows from the agreement on what date or within what specific period the service in question must be performed 1 (cf. section 18(2)(12) of the Consumer Contracts Act).
  • Terms and conditions for cancellation and change of events, including any fees and deadlines, will be specified in the order confirmation/agreement, which is sent upon order.

  1. Complaint
  • If there are any errors or omissions with the event or gift card, please contact the relevant restaurant. immediately and at the latest within a reasonable time after you have discovered or should have discovered the error. Contact information can be found on the respective website.
  • Complaints are processed in accordance with the Danish Sales Act.

  1. Personal data
  • We process your personal data in accordance with Danish personal data legislation and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). See our personal data policy, which will always be available on the respective websites, for more information about how we process your information. We only store information necessary to process your order and do not share the information with unauthorized parties.

  1. Responsibility
  • The individual Kød restaurant is responsible for delivering the event in accordance with the agreement.
  • Meat is not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), such as extreme weather, strikes or other unforeseen events.

  1. Changes to the Terms of Trade
  • Meat reserves the right to change these terms and conditions. The most recent and current terms and conditions will be available on the respective restaurant websites.

  1. Disputes and Choice of Law
  • These terms and conditions are subject to Danish law.
  • Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably must be brought before the ordinary Danish courts. You can also complain to the Center for Complaints Resolution of the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority (www.forbrug.dk), if the conditions for this are met.

  1. Reservations
  • We reserve the right to make typographical errors, price changes and changes in event details, which will be updated on the respective websites.
